The Wae Cw contest 2020 committee, issued the claimed score of the Cw round. I expected a little more than the 22nd place, my score is quite high, but ather operators performed better than me and i congratulation with them. Mi aspettavo una posizione migliore in classifica del 22mo posto perchè il mio punteggio era abbastanza alto ma altri operatori sono stati più bravi di me e mi congratulo con loro. Wae Cw 2020, the summer contest.
This is my performance in the Wae Cw 2020 contest. I worked 25 hours on the 36 available during the full weekend 8th and 9th august 2020. I got a score of 496.604 with 537 qso, 602 qtc and 436 multipliers using low powerr. This is my best results in more than 40 years that i participate in this nice contest, even when i used high power. Here is the 2020 time graph created by QARTest.
Questo articolo per comunicarvi come si è svolto il contest Wae Cw 2020 durante lo scorso weekend 8 e 9 agosto 2020. Ho lavorato 25 ore effettive su 36 disponibili. il risultato finale è di 496.604 punti, con 537 qso, 602 qtc e 436 multiplicatori, nella cattegoria a bassa potenza. Questo è il mio miglior risultato in oiù di 40 anni che partecipo a questo affascinante contest, anche quando usavo più potenza. La prossima figura mostra la rate graph generata dal logger QARTest.
RSGB IOTA Contest 2020
This year the RSGB IOTA contest take place the 25th and 26th luly 2020, from 12:00 UTC to 11:59 UTC. The last week end of july as usualy. But this year there are a few changements in the rules about the categories.
Quest’anno il RSGB IOTA Contest si terrà fra le ore 12:00 UTC di sabato 25 luglio e le ore 11:59 UTC di domenica 26 luglio 2020. Come il solito l’ultimo weekend di luglio di ogni anno. Quest’anno, però, ci saranno alcuni cambiamenti riguardanti le categorie.

I’m pleased to comunicate that the I.N.O.R.C. (Italian Naval Old Rhythmers Club) to commemorate the italian liner Andrea Doria/ICEH sunked at 1956 in the North Atlantic Ocean, organize a radio party with the special call sign II0ICEH and a Award dedicated to the histical event, Andrea Doria Award. IARU HF WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP CONTEST 2020 DECLARED SCORE
Saturday 11 july, afternoon, the first day of IARU HF WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP CONTEST 2020, the weather was very bad indeed. In my area, in the northeast of Italy, between Adriatic sea’s coasts and the mountain range Alpi, heavy thunderstorms, lightning and rain showers with violent gusts. All bands was very noisy owing strong QRN, impossible operate. I had better to switch the antennas to ground for the whole afternoon until the evening.
Sabato 11 luglio, pomeriggio, il primo giorno del IARU HF WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP CONTEST 2020, il tempo è stato davvero pessimo. Nella mia zona, nel nord-est dell’Italia, tra le coste del mare Adriatico e la catena montuosa delle Alpi, forti temporali, fulmini e rovesci di pioggia con forti raffiche di vento . Tutte le bande erano molto rumorose a causa del forte QRN, impossibile operare. Ho commutato le antenne a terra per tutto il pomeriggio fino a sera.
