This year I participated to the Waedc Cw 2024 with a light commit. A severe thunderstorm occured during the tuesday afternoon before the contest weekend, damaged the cubical quad antenna. Before the contest, I tried to reparir it but the automatic tuner of the TS850S wasn’t able to tune it in none band. Im still waiting a crane for reach all parts of antenna loops.

Even the summary repairs, the inside automatic tunner of the TS850S didn’t tune any bands, instead the output pi of the PA Heathkit SB220 tune easy all bands. So i decided to participate in the High Power Cattegory with 500 W with a limited time of 12 hours. I got 402 qso, 287 qtc, 132 countries, 186 call areas with a score of 220480 points.

I put the multipliers tables continent by continent and in the last the table with the call areas worked.
This is my Waedc CW 2024. I hope the next year I’ll be able reach again the Top Ten as past years if my own energy and antennas will allow me.
